The Amana-Goodman 0121F00468S Orifice Bracket is a critical OEM replacement part designed to maintain the structural integrity and performance of gas furnace burner assemblies. Specifically engineered as a Burner 3 orifice bracket, this genuine factory component ensures the precise alignment of the gas orifice with the burner tube. Proper positioning is essential for achieving an optimal air-to-gas ratio, which facilitates efficient combustion and prevents issues such as uneven heating or soot buildup.

Constructed from durable steel, the 0121F00468S is built to withstand the high-temperature environment of a furnace's combustion chamber. Whether you are performing routine maintenance or a furnace repair, using this Amana Goodman furnace part guarantees compatibility and reliable operation within your heating system. It serves as a direct replacement for part 0121F00468, providing the stability required for consistent gas distribution and safe furnace cycles during cold weather.

Key Benefits:

  • Precision Alignment: Secures the burner orifice in the exact position required for a steady flame and high-efficiency heat transfer.
  • Enhanced Durability: Heat-resistant steel construction prevents warping or corrosion over time.
  • Direct OEM Fit: Guaranteed to match original equipment specifications for Amana and Goodman HVAC units.
  • Improved Safety: Proper bracket support prevents gas flow irregularities that could lead to inefficient burning or safety hazards.

Common Questions:

How do I know if I need a new burner orifice bracket?
If you notice uneven flames, soot near the burner assembly, or if the existing bracket shows signs of rust or physical damage, a replacement is necessary to ensure the combustion system remains efficient.

Can I use this bracket for both Natural Gas and Propane units?
Yes, this orifice burner bracket is designed to support the orifice regardless of the gas type, provided the furnace model is compatible with part 0121F00468S.

Is this part compatible with other brands?
This is a genuine Amana-Goodman part primarily used in their residential gas furnaces. Always verify your specific model number to ensure a correct fit.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I am looking for an orifice heat shield for an Amana-Goodman, Model AMEC960603BNAB, S/N 1511017397. I've stumbled upon many different warehouse shops--most don't even list my particular model, most don't have a picture of the item I am looking for, and most seem to show a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT item for this 0121F00468 P/N. They most often show, instead, a rectangular, boxy-looking "bracket" that houses the Breckett Burners, AND THEN PHYSICALLY ATTACHES to the Orifice Heat Shield--which YOUR picture seems to show (by virtue of those 2 "flanges"). From as near as I can tell, those left and right flanges must bend to form a right angle to the shield (the plate with the 3 prominent holes--that's where the flame from the Breckett Burners shoots through). I do NOT need the boxy-looking bracket that suspends and holds the Breckett Burners. I think I need what you have pictured, but because I am uncertain of what the ACTUAL part number for my furnace should be, I can only make an educated guess this COULD BE the part I've been trying to obtain. After obtaining 3 so-called "Orifice Heat Shields" from another vendor (for only $5.97 each I might add)--and received instead the much larger boxy-bracket assembly that houses the 3 burners; the heat shield wasn't shipped attached), I am growing weary of trying to find a vendor who understands what I need and has what I am trying to find. My guess is, somehow, the same P/N is being used to describe 2 different parts (which do screw together), but are obviously, not the same thing, and serve 2 different functions. Can someone please confirm the pictured item is the appropriate item for my furnace. I would love to procure at least a couple of them. Not sure the pricing is correct. 50-60 dollars seems right for the boxy-looking bracket (that I got for $5.97 elsewhere), while 5 to 9 dollars seems more correct for the Heat Shield. I've seen this kind of range from other vendors--but unfortunately, NONE of them provided anything in the way of pictures. You're the first vendor I found that even shows the picture you have--hence the reason for this communication.... I hope you can help.

The 0121F00468 is the correct part for that model. Thanks
