Lennox 10M08 Motor Module Kit
The Lennox 10M08 Motor Module Kit is a critical OEM component designed for high-efficiency variable speed blower motor applications. This 1 HP motor module serves as a direct technical replacement for legacy part numbers 28M30, 28M3001, 10B67, and 18M81, ensuring seamless integration with existing Lennox air handlers and furnaces. Engineered for dual-voltage versatility, it operates on 120/240V and is factory-configured for CCW rotation. As a furnace blower motor control, this module manages the electromagnetic communication required to maintain precise CFM across varying static pressures. When diagnosing a failed ECM system, verifying the module's 10M0801 compatibility is essential for restoring optimal airflow and system communication. This constant torque motor module provides the specific logic parameters needed for equipment protection and performance, making it the standard choice for field technicians performing high-stakes residential or commercial motor repairs.
Technical Benefits:- Direct OEM Compatibility: Engineered specifically to replace outdated 28M30 and 18M81 modules without mounting modifications.
- Dual-Voltage Capability: Field-ready for 120V or 240V configurations, reducing the need for multiple truck stock variants.
- Precision Airflow Control: Facilitates accurate variable speed operation to meet strict HVAC load requirements.
- Counterclockwise Rotation: Matches the factory-spec CCW rotation required for specific Lennox blower wheel geometries.
Can I install this 10M08 module on a non-Lennox motor?
This module is programmed with Lennox-proprietary algorithms and is designed exclusively for Lennox OEM motor assemblies; use with third-party motors may result in communication failure.
Does this kit include the motor and the module?
The 10M08 is a motor module kit designed to replace the control electronics on the back of the motor. It is ideal for repairs where the motor bearings and windings remain functional but the control logic has failed.
What causes a 1 HP ECM module to fail prematurely?
The most common failure points include high static pressure causing overheating and voltage surges. Always check the harness and surge protector when installing a Lennox replacement motor module.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
I have a lennox model G61MPV-60-091-12 furnace which needs a 10M08 motor control module. The old module attaches with 3 screws. The new one seem to use two. Are they still compatable? Also do you have this in stock? Thanks Rick K
That is the part that the factory is showing to replace the module. I donβt have any other options other than to replace the motor with a 10B67 as well.
