The Trane KIT16529 is the complete communicating power pack door assembly for the American Standard AccuClean and Trane CleanEffects whole-house electronic air cleaners. Trane's own service bulletin ACC-SVB19D-EN lists KIT16529 as the new door kit for the AFD245CLFR000C, AFD245CLFR000D, AFD24DCLFR000C and AFD24DCLFR000D air cleaners. The door is the heart of the unit: it houses the internal control board and power pack that energize the field charger and the collection cells, and on a communicating system it is also the communication link that lets the air cleaner talk to the Trane comfort control. Trane rates the CleanEffects system to remove up to 99.98 percent of airborne allergens down to 0.1 micron, and none of that happens when the door stops powering the charger and cells.

Trane issued ACC-SVB19D-EN (December 2, 2013) for AccuClean and CleanEffects air cleaners that generate communicating errors when installed in communicating mode.
