Description
The McDonnell & Miller FPC-1000-P (boilerwize) Control is a universal, field-configurable Low Water Cut-Off designed to protect both steam and hot water boilers from dangerous low water conditions. This advanced probe-type LWCO uses patented technology to monitor changes in water conductivity, ensuring the burner only shuts off when a true low-water event occurs—reducing nuisance trips while maintaining superior safety.
The FPC-1000-P can be easily configured for 24V or 120V, as well as automatic or manual reset, making it an ideal replacement for virtually all electronic LWCOs on the market.
How It Works
Using patented conductivity-sensing technology, the FPC-1000-P continuously evaluates water conditions. When readings exceed defined limits, the control determines whether to shut down the burner based on resistance variability. This ensures maximum protection without unnecessary burner interruptions. If an out-of-water condition is detected, the system automatically shuts off the burner for enhanced safety.
