Engineered for exceptional dynamic performance, the Model 74 Series uses a piston or diaphragm-driven actuator to accurately position valves according to control instrument signals—and maintain that position even under fluctuating conditions. Its advanced design minimizes the effects of supply pressure variations, reducing the need for separate pressure regulators and improving system efficiency.

This two-stage, pilot-operated valve positioner features a dual-output booster system that operates in a “push-pull” configuration. When one booster supplies air, the other exhausts, enabling fast, responsive, and stable actuator movement. For single-acting, spring-loaded actuators, the unused pilot-booster port can be easily plugged, offering additional installation flexibility.
