Antunes Controls 8024204025 Pressure Switch
The Antunes Controls 8024204025 is a high-precision air pressure switch designed for monitoring differential pressure in critical HVAC and combustion air systems. This SPDT air differential pressure switch features an adjustable range of .17" to 6" Water Column (WC), providing reliable proof of airflow for burners, blowers, and industrial ventilation units. Engineered with 1/4" compression fitting connections, it ensures a secure, leak-proof mechanical interface in high-vibration environments. The FM approved pressure switch construction meets rigorous safety standards, making it a standard replacement for sensing positive, negative, or differential air pressure. Technicians rely on the Antunes Model JD-2 series for its repeatable set points and durable diaphragm design, which prevents nuisance trips in varying static pressure applications. Whether integrated into a safety interlock circuit or used for fan status monitoring, this component delivers the industrial-grade accuracy required for commercial heating and cooling equipment.
Key Benefits for Technicians- Adjustable Set Point: Versatile .17-6" WC range allows for precise field calibration to meet specific blower and duct static pressure requirements.
- SPDT Contact Configuration: Flexible wiring options for normally open or normally closed logic in safety limit or control circuits.
- Durable Construction: Built for industrial longevity with an FM-approved housing that withstands demanding mechanical room conditions.
- Simplified Installation: Standard 1/4-inch compression fittings facilitate quick integration into existing antunes controls air switch piping setups.
- What is the maximum operating pressure for this unit? The 8024204025 is typically rated for a maximum surge pressure of 20" WC to protect the internal diaphragm from damage.
- Can this switch be used for both positive and negative pressure? Yes, by utilizing the high and low ports correctly, it can sense vacuum, pressure, or the differential between two points.
- How do I verify the set point? Use a calibrated manometer while adjusting the internal scale to ensure the switch trips at the exact required static pressure.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Do these come preset. Or do they need to be adjusted
All settings are made with the diaphragm in a vertical position. The switch is shipped with the adjustment at minimum .17” W.C. To adjust, turn adjusting screw with screwdriver. To increase pressure setting, turn adjustment screw down in a clockwise direction. To decrease pressure setting, turn adjusting screw up, in a
counterclockwise direction.
