Williams P254000 Thermocouple

The pilot light flame stays on but the gas valve is not allowing the burner to come on will a new thermocouple fix this issue

It could be or it could be something else like the gas valve, other controls etc.

Hello, I was wondering if this thermocouple will be right for a Williams furnace model number 5507332 used with natural gas.
